  • Age requirement: 18+
  • Strict availability for night shifts is requiredThis schedule is non-negotiable. Candidates must be fully available and prepared to work assigned night hours consistently.
  • Reliable laptop and stable internet connection Since dispatching is time-sensitive and communication-based, dependable technical access is essential.
  • Comfortable using online tools and solving basic technical issues independently Candidates should be able to use communication platforms, browser-based systems, spreadsheets, load boards, and tracking tools without constant support.
  • Strong basic math skills (Algebra level) Coordinators regularly work with rates, mileage, time calculations, fuel costs, and operational numbers, so confidence with basic math is important.
  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher is mandatoryThis is a strict and non-negotiable requirement. The trainer and the company are highly specific about this standard. Applications from candidates below C1 level will be dismissed without consideration. No exceptions will be made.

English and Communication Skills

This role requires excellent spoken and written English because coordinators communicate constantly with drivers, brokers, shippers, and customers in a fast-moving environment where communication mistakes can lead to delays, misunderstandings, compliance issues, and financial loss.

Candidates must be able to:

  • Speak clearly, confidently, and professionally in real-time conversations
  • Understand fast spoken English, including different accents and work-related terminology
  • Write clear, accurate, and professional messages, updates, and instructions
  • Give directions and explain situations in a simple and organized way
  • Handle stressful conversations calmly and professionally
  • Ask the right questions quickly to gather missing information
  • Respond without confusion, long delays, or repeated clarification

Strict English Rule

English proficiency below C1 will result in automatic dismissal of the application without consideration.

This requirement is strictly enforced because the program is designed to train candidates in dispatch operations, not basic English communication. The company and trainer require candidates to already have the language level necessary to perform in a real dispatch environment.

Interview Verification

All shortlisted candidates will go through an interview to verify their English speaking, listening, and communication level.

The interview will assess whether the candidate can demonstrate:

  • Clear and confident spoken English
  • Strong listening comprehension
  • Fast and accurate responses in conversation
  • Professional vocabulary and sentence structure
  • The ability to communicate effectively under pressure

Candidates who do not demonstrate the required level during the interview will not move forward.

Why Speaking Skills Matter

Coordinators spend a large part of their shift speaking with drivers, brokers, and customers. Strong speaking skills are essential because a coordinator must:

  • Explain pickup and delivery instructions clearly
  • Solve problems quickly over the phone
  • Respond professionally under pressure
  • Prevent misunderstandings that may cause delays or missed appointments
  • Build trust through confident and organized communication

A coordinator who cannot speak clearly and professionally cannot manage operations effectively.

Why Writing Skills Matter

Writing is just as important as speaking in dispatch work. Coordinators are expected to send and manage:

  • Load details
  • Schedule updates
  • Driver instructions
  • Status reports
  • Explanations of delays or issues
  • Confirmations and documentation
  • Internal notes and operational records

Written communication must be clear, professional, accurate, and easy to understand. Poor writing can create confusion, wrong instructions, incomplete records, and avoidable operational problems.

Why Communication Matters Overall

Transportation coordination is not only about moving freight. It is about managing information correctly, quickly, and professionally. Strong communication helps coordinators:

  • Reduce mistakes
  • Resolve issues faster
  • Coordinate drivers more effectively
  • Maintain professional relationships
  • Protect the company’s reputation
  • Keep operations organized and efficient

In this role, communication is not an extra skill. It is one of the core requirements of the job.

Multitasking and Time Management

Coordinators must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where several tasks happen at the same time.

Candidates should be able to:

  • Manage multiple loads or drivers at once
  • Switch quickly between phone calls, chats, emails, tracking systems, and documents
  • Respond to urgent issues without losing control of other active tasks
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
  • Stay organized while handling large amounts of communication
  • Maintain accuracy even when working under pressure

Why Multitasking Is Important

A coordinator rarely deals with only one issue at a time. During a normal shift, a coordinator may need to:

  • Speak with a driver about a delay
  • Update a broker on shipment status
  • Track a load in real time
  • Review or send documents
  • Enter notes into a system
  • Prepare the next assignment

All of this can happen within a very short period.

Strong multitasking skills are essential because coordinators must keep operations moving without missing important details. The ability to stay calm, organized, and accurate while handling several responsibilities at once is one of the most important parts of the role.

Professional Expectations

Candidates are expected to demonstrate:

  • Professional and respectful communication at all times
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt
  • Honest and ethical behavior under pressure
  • Punctuality, consistency, and seriousness about the opportunity
  • Attention to detail in both communication and documentation
  • A calm, solution-focused attitude in stressful situations

Applicants are screened, and selected candidates are invited to a short interview to assess:

  • English proficiency
  • Communication skills

This interview will also be used to verify the required C1 English level or higher. Candidates who do not meet this standard will be dismissed from the process without consideration.
